Emily Formea is the author and owner of the ‘Sincerely, XO Emily‘ blog, coaching business, and brand. She’s a mental health advocate who overcame her own eating disorder of 10+ years and now aspires to help others to do the same! She’s written books on disorderly eating and taking your life back after an eating disorder, as well as, being a member of the National Eating Disorder Association.

After graduating in May 2018 with a B.S. in Political Science, Emily moved to Washington, DC to work for the House of Representatives and chase her dream of making a positive impact for others. However, she quickly realized that she wanted to help people on a more 1:1 basis and specifically help those struggling with what she had struggled through herself. She quit her 9-5 job and never looked back. She started her own company as an online wellness coach over a year ago and began to coach women with their food relationships and negative body image. She’s now a full-time coach, as well as, wellness speaker.

She’s traveled the country to speak at different sorority chapters and events on self-confidence and overall mental wellness. She works 1:1 with women every day to help them leave their diet cultured minds or the restrict-binge cycle and regain a life of trust, enjoyment, and balance when it comes to food.

Emily Formea is currently working on getting her Masters in Counseling and hopes to continue to inspire, support, and coach women to love their bodies and live a life of food freedom; a life outside their disorderly eating.
